DrNooo

Donald, known online as DrNooo, is a 65-year-old retired US Navy veteran and lifelong music roadie who has reinvented himself as a prolific AI music producer, YouTube creator, and community builder under the Resonant Records collective. In the Navy he served as a computer tech for surface-to-air missiles and as Security Officer aboard the USS California, skills that later informed 13 years pouring steel in heavy industry. He also brought 20-plus years of on-and-off restaurant cooking experience to the table. Married with three stepchildren in the past, he is now divorced and lives as a contented hermit in the woods of Vassar, Michigan.
Drawing from nearly 50 years of hands-on experience in small bar bands—handling sound, lights, and road support—Donald fuels his current passion for crafting original tracks, lyrics, and visual content with AI tools like Suno. After facing health challenges including minor strokes around 2022, he discovered AI music production during recovery and has since dedicated the last several years to it as his central "life," channeling resilience, humor, and defiant creativity into genres ranging from acid bounce EDM and hyperpop to garage rock, gothic, and veteran-themed anthems. Having completed what he calls his “grown-up stuff,” Donald now embraces the freedom to go back to being a kid—playing with wild personas like his mad doctor DrNooo and Bunnywomen lore, experimenting fearlessly, and building an online AI music family that feels like home.
