Jai The Poet is a Pontiac-born, Detroit-rooted lyricist, poet, musician, storyteller, visual director, and creative architect. He is the founder of Resonant Records, the creator of Detroit Glitch-Bap, and the human signal behind Record Head, a faceless vinyl-headed figure built to embody transmission, memory, resistance, and the enduring power of sound.

At the age of fourteen, a very old friend gave him the name Jaiden. It was not a calculated reinvention or an artist name chosen for effect. It simply fit. The name remained, grew with him, and became inseparable from the person he understood himself to be.
